You can feed your tamagotchi. The meal increases hunger & weight by 1 and Snack increases mood by 1 and weight by 2
Turn lights on / off. Turn of when tamagotchi is asleep
P1: Pick a for left and b for right. P2: Pick a for lower and b for higher number than the one shown. You need 3 wins to increase mood. Playing Reduces weight by one
If you see a skull, then it is sick. You need to give it a dose of medecine. This can rangee from 1 - 3 doses. In the remake, it is mostly 2 doses but for Kusatchi or Tarakotchi, it is sometimes three. There is a small chance of 1 dose.
Through out the day, the tamagotchi will poop and you have to wash it away
You can check its age, weight, hunger, mood, and discipline
If it beeps for no reason, doesn't want to eat, or play a game, you can discipline it. This raises discipline by 25%
It will beep when it falls asleep, needs discipline ore its hunger or happiness meters are empty.

You can pause it by going to the clock screen and putting it on SET mode by pressing A+C, freezing your tama.
You can also mute it by pressing A+C
When your tamagotchi dies, it will let out a series of beeps (good care = laying an egg before it dies) and it will show a ghost (J), an angel (US P1) or a UFO (US P2). You cannot see the clock but you can press C to see its final age. Press A+C to get another egg and wait 5 minutes
Here's a secret... If you reset while pressing A+C, you will go to a special screen showing SE 00. You can press C to go to the next sound, A for the previous, and B to play that sound. Yes, this also works on the remake because I tested it out and it works.
